Scheduling
Schedules give you fine-grained control over when content plays. A schedule links a playlist to one or more screens (or screen groups) with optional time and date constraints.
Schedule Types
Always-On
The playlist plays continuously with no time restriction. Use this as the default fallback schedule; it has the lowest priority and is pre-empted by any time-based schedule.
Time-Based
Define a start time and end time within a day. The schedule only plays within that window and falls back to the always-on schedule outside it. Useful for promotions that only run during business hours.
Day-of-Week
Restrict playback to specific days (e.g. Monday–Friday, or weekends only). Combine with time-based rules for maximum precision — for example, a Monday morning playlist from 08:00 to 10:00.
Date Range
Any schedule can be further bounded by a start date and end date. Ideal for seasonal campaigns or one-off events.
Priority
When multiple schedules overlap on the same screen, the one with the highest priority (numerically larger) wins. Default priority is 0 (always-on). Assign priority 1–100 to time-based schedules. Two schedules with equal priority at the same time will both play in round-robin.
