Player App

The VisionDigitPro Player is a lightweight app that runs on your display hardware, connects to the cloud, and renders your scheduled content. It supports a wide range of platforms.

Amazon Fire TV & Fire Stick

  1. On your Fire TV, go to Settings › My Fire TV › Developer Options and enable Apps from Unknown Sources.
  2. Install the Downloader app from the Fire TV App Store.
  3. Open Downloader and enter the Player download URL provided in your dashboard under Screens › Download Player.
  4. Install the APK and launch the VisionDigitPro Player.
  5. Follow the pairing guide to pair the screen.

Android TV

The Player is available as an APK for all Android TV devices (Android 7+). Sideload via ADB or use a file manager app. An official Android TV listing is coming soon.

adb install visiondigitpro-player.apk

Raspberry Pi

A Raspberry Pi 4 (2 GB+ RAM) running Raspberry Pi OS Lite is the recommended hardware for cost-effective deployments.

  1. Flash Raspberry Pi OS Lite to a microSD card.
  2. SSH into the device and run the one-line installer:
curl -fsSL https://install.digitalsignagepro.app/pi | bash

The installer configures kiosk mode, sets up auto-start, and launches the Player.

Windows

  1. Download the Windows installer (.exe) from your dashboard under Screens › Download Player.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen steps.
  3. The Player launches at startup automatically and opens in full-screen kiosk mode.
  4. Press Ctrl+Alt+Q to exit kiosk mode and access settings.

Minimum Requirements

  • CPU: dual-core 1.5 GHz or better
  • RAM: 2 GB minimum, 4 GB recommended for 4K content
  • Storage: 8 GB free (more for offline caching)
  • Network: 10 Mbps+ for HD video; 25 Mbps+ for 4K
