Remote Management

VisionDigitPro lets you manage every aspect of your screens remotely — no physical access required. Commands are sent over a secure WebSocket connection and executed by the Player app within seconds.

Remote Commands

• Reboot — Restarts the Player app and optionally the OS.
• Refresh Content — Forces the Player to re-download the latest playlist.
• Screenshot — Captures the current screen output and sends it to the dashboard.
• Volume — Adjusts or mutes audio output (supported devices only).
• Brightness — Sets display brightness (supported displays with DDC/CI).
• Power Off / On — Turns the display on or off via HDMI-CEC or IR (device-dependent).

Screen Health Monitoring

Each device reports CPU usage, memory, storage, network signal, and app version every 60 seconds. Historical health data is retained for 30 days and viewable in Screens › [screen] › Health.

Alerts & Notifications

Set up email or webhook alerts for offline events from Settings › Notifications. Alert thresholds are configurable: notify after 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes of inactivity.

Player Auto-Update

The Player app updates itself automatically during off-peak hours (configurable in screen settings). You can also trigger a manual update from the screen detail page.
