Pair Your First Screen

Pairing links a physical display running the VisionDigitPro Player App to your organisation. Once paired, you can push content, schedules, and configuration changes remotely without touching the device.

Method 1 — QR Code (recommended)

  1. Install the VisionDigitPro Player on your device (see Player App).
  2. Launch the Player. A full-screen pairing screen with a QR code will appear.
  3. In the dashboard, go to Screens › Add Screen and select Scan QR Code.
  4. Point your phone camera at the QR code on the display. The screen name field will populate automatically.
  5. Click Confirm Pairing. The display will refresh and show the default playlist within seconds.

Method 2 — Pairing Code

  1. Launch the Player on your device. Note the 6-character alphanumeric code displayed on screen.
  2. In the dashboard, go to Screens › Add Screen and select Enter Pairing Code.
  3. Type the code and click Pair.

Troubleshooting

  • QR code not scanning — Ensure the display is in a well-lit area and your camera has adequate resolution. Try the pairing code method as an alternative.
  • Code expired — Pairing codes expire after 10 minutes. Restart the Player app on the device to generate a fresh code.
  • Screen shows "Waiting for content" — The screen is paired but has no assigned playlist or schedule. Assign one from Screens › [screen name] › Assign Content.
  • Device offline — Confirm the device has internet access. Check the network indicator in the Player status bar.
