Delete your account and data

Last updated: September 27, 2026

This page explains how to delete your VisionDigit account and the data held with it. VisionDigit is published by BereTEK and covers the dashboard at app.visiondigit.com and the VisionDigit player apps on Fire TV, Android TV, Android, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and the web.

1. Delete your account from the dashboard

  1. Sign in at app.visiondigit.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Under Danger Zone, choose Delete account.
  4. Confirm with your password.

Your account is then scheduled for deletion and removed after 30 days. You are signed out straight away. If you change your mind during those 30 days, write to us and we will stop it.

2. If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days.

3. What is deleted, and what is not

Deleting your user account removes:

  • Your name, email address and password.
  • Your sign-in sessions, devices and any two-factor enrolment.
  • Your personal dashboard settings and your membership of the organization.

It does not delete the content that belongs to the business: screens, playlists, uploaded media, waiting rooms and proof-of-play records are owned by the organization, not by you, and other members keep working with them. To delete an organization and everything in it, the account holder should email us at the address above and say so.

We keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices and tax records, for as long as the law requires. Backups are cycled out within 30 days.

4. Deleting data without deleting your account

If you want some of your data removed but want to keep your account, email [email protected] and say what should go. This is also the route for asking to see, correct or export your data — self-service export is not available yet, so we do it for you.

If a business took your phone number for a waiting room, that business holds it and decides about it. Ask them, and they can have it removed.

5. Player apps on a television

A screen running the player stores only its pairing token and the content cached for playback. Unpairing the screen from the dashboard, or uninstalling the app, removes it from the television. The player has no accounts of its own and asks viewers for nothing.
